Data Deletion

Last updated: 1 March 2026

1. Your Right to Erasure

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the "right to be forgotten" — the right to request the deletion of your personal data. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to handling all data deletion requests promptly and transparently.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request data deletion in two ways:

Please include your full name and the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before processing the deletion.

3. What We Delete

Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete:

  • Account information (name, email, phone number, password)
  • Saved delivery addresses
  • Favourites and saved items
  • Shopping cart data
  • WhatsApp communication data and preferences
  • Marketing preferences and opt-in records

4. What We May Retain

We may need to retain certain data where we have a legal obligation:

  • Order and transaction records: retained for 6 years as required by HMRC for tax and accounting purposes
  • Fraud prevention data: retained where necessary to protect against fraudulent activity
  • Legal claims: retained where necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims

5. Processing Time

  • We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours
  • Your data will be deleted within 30 days of identity verification
  • You will receive confirmation once deletion is complete
  • If we need to retain any data, we will inform you of the specific data and the legal basis for retention

6. Third-Party Data

Data shared with third parties (such as WhatsApp / Meta) is managed separately under their own privacy policies. We will inform relevant third parties of your deletion request where applicable, but you may also need to contact them directly for data they hold independently.
